The Science 351's +CO3SO project aims to combat territorial asymmetries and inequalities through the economic exploration of creative ideas, enabling an increase in productivity supported by the qualification of human resources and the transfer of innovative knowledge.

Founded on a strategy of proximity and valorisation of botanical resources, as well as an outlook for expansion and diversification, Science 351 promotes the development of a new line of natural cosmetic products. The objective is to establish the brand in the national and international markets, while also addressing a global trend of producing and consuming environmentally sustainable products based on natural raw materials.

The cosmetics produced are rooted in the endemic flora of the Terras de Sicó region, enhancing the sustainability of the area's biodiversity and promoting the natural and scenic heritage of the region.

This project also envisages the reinforcement of marketing, management, and R&D human resources. It allows cross-fertilisation of physico-chemical knowledge for the homogenisation and selection of ingredients, polymer selection, rheological knowledge for viscosity control, formulation knowledge for stability, mapping the potentialities of various species existing in the region, as well as stimulating economic investment and commercial management.
